ID Document Examination and Training

IPP provides training for clients including Embassies, Consulates,
Police Departments, Customs and Immigration Officials that need
to understand the latest in technology and how to authenticate ID
documents.  Training courses can be tailored to any level based on
the needs of the client.  Employees and staff of government bodies
responsible for making decisions about documents need to stay
abreast of the latest developments on security, manufacturing
techniques and methodologies.  The people that attend our training
courses will be exposed to ways the criminal element attempt to alter
and/or counterfeit genuine ID.  They will learn about the weaknesses
and strong points of various security features available in the market
today as well as how security designers plan and execute a high
security document design.

The courses include topics covering paper, inks, OVDs, laminates,
coatings and digital security issuing techniques and how all these
technologies interact. Some examples of clients that attend IPP
courses include:

  • Embassy and Consulate staff that examine passports,
    visas and various other ID Documents
  • Immigration Officers that inspect passports and visas
  • Various government officials that have responsibility for
    procurement of ID Documents
  • Staff of banks and other institutions that handle value
    documents
  • Police forensic staff that need to increase their knowledge
    on manufacturing processes and security printing
  • Individuals  that review university transcripts for job
    applications

The training courses are offered at IPP facilities or at our clients’
facilities. Where possible, we prefer to have small classes and
utilize the resources of Forensic Service Laboratory in Bangkok,
Thailand. Here the attendees can see and examine various features
of documents individually as our instructors highlight the features of
genuine ID Documents.  The course is designed to facilitate and
impart a better understanding of what features are present in a
security document, how they are manufactured and how they
function to compliment one another in a proper security design.
Our clients learn how to verify and authenticate a genuine ID
document.


  Consumer Brand Examination and Training

IPP provides training for clients including Brand Owners, Police
Departments and Customs / Immigration Officials that need to
understand the latest in technology and how to authenticate
consumer brands.  Training courses can be tailored to any level
based on the needs of the client.  Employees of brand owners
responsible for making decisions about product and packaging
design need to stay abreast of the latest developments on security,
manufacturing techniques and methodologies.  The people that
attend our training courses will be exposed to ways the criminal
element attempt to alter and/or counterfeit brands and brand
packaging.  They will learn about the weaknesses and strong
points of various security features available in the market today,
as well as how security features affect the manufacturing process.
The courses include topics covering paper, films, inks, OVDs,
laminates, coatings and digital security issuing techniques and
how all these technologies interact.  Some examples of clients
